Configuration Steps
1. Add Email Domain
- Navigate to Organization Settings
- Select “Email Domains” tab
- Click “Add Domain”
- Enter your domain (e.g., elementum.ai or app.elementum.ai)
2. DNS Configuration
Add these DNS records to your provider that the UI will provide you with.3. Verification Process
- After adding DNS records, click “Verify Configuration”
- Verification can take up to 24 hours
- Status indicators show configuration state:
- ✅ Green: Properly configured
- ⚠️ Yellow: Pending verification
- ❌ Red: Configuration error
4. Testing
- Once verified, enter a test email address
- Send test email to confirm setup
- Verify received email shows your domain in “From” field

Setting Default Domain
- Select verified domain
- Click “Set as Default”
- Confirm selection
Monitoring & Maintenance
- System checks domain validity every 6 hours
- Invalid configurations trigger admin notifications
- Fallback to elementum.io if domain becomes invalid

Admins receive alerts for:- Invalid domain configuration
- Failed email validation
- Domain verification issues

- Go to Organization Settings
- Select “System Notifications”
- Add users/groups for error notifications

- Regularly monitor domain status

- Emails use DKIM for authentication
- “Reply-To” preserves elementum.io address
